The best player is TK and you're asking for a 3rd in addition.</div></div>
Girard is fine, his defensive game has always been good. Are yuo ust saying hes not moving in the right direction bc of his points?
You are acting like he has no value then which is just insnt the case

I'd prefer girard on the back end, because that 3rd pairing is brutal, johnson stuggles to make breakout passes with a good pucking moving d man as his partner, with someone else who isn't a strong skater every puck will be high off the glass, then right back at us</div></div>
I agree, thats way too much to give up while not even gaining any sort of cap space next year either. Burn a lot of assets and their best trade piece just to be in cap hell next year

2023 TDL no major changes
remove all conditions to upgrade to a 1st and the avs might consider it. Even though rumours are circulating his season is over
Even some Montreal writers are now speculating that it would tough to even get a 2nd for Monahan.

VAN Goes all out for Bedard
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RazWild</b></div><div>Poor play?
That is not even remotely true.
Fleury has a .920 sv% himself since November. His stats are poor and dragged down by the first 3 games of the season where he let in 20 goals in 3 games played, and goals that are directly attributable to defensive breakdowns in the rest. He's had maybe 4 games in which he was bad outside of those first 3. That in no way means he's played poorly. In last night's game against Arizona, for example, he had a .958 sv% performance despite the loss.
He's played extremely well this season. And is still the primary starter. Where the hell did you hear he had lost it?
Yes, Gustavsson has been better this season, no doubt, with a league leading .948 sv% since November. But Fleury still started the last 3 games in a row. Neither is truly the starter on the team. It's a fully true goalie tandem right now.</div></div>
all his goals and saves above expected stats say other wise.

thought the same thing,
If trouba was making 5m aav, as a Dman, he would be considered one of the best value contracts for a Top pairing Dman.
I think thats where the real conversation lies

You realize the MAF is getting replaced at the starter again bc of his poor play and he has Been benched 4 post seasons jn a row watching his team be eliminated.
Check the stat lines. Georgiev is a .920 sv% and MAF is a .905 and no Georgiev isn’t benefiting from a better defense in front of him, they have been injured for half the season and hav 3 ahl dmen playing regularly in front of him
MAF is not the goalie you claim him be, no one has or will win anything again,

I thought mayfield as wekk but dont see Islanders selling. Same as Caps. Gudas would be interesting. Panthers should just accept it and sell.

Manson Byram is a pair you want to run, especially considering that will be your 2nd pair next season so build that chemistry
really need to get a Luke Schenn type for Girard and let EJ have more nights off. If they could make the cap work, Niko Mikkola seems like he would be a nice add

One Larkin for rent please
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kyriakos_Grizzly</b></div><div>I know. You think Wings would get a similar return than Canucks got for Horvat?</div></div>
one would assume but it all depends, Horvat didnt have trade protection, and was traded well in advance of the deadline. Larkin could impact the return of a trade (IF) he only waives to 1 or a small select group of teams. If he draws it out to the 11th hour on March 3rd, could force detriot to take the best package they can get.
There is always the risk the NTC is a major hurdle and a Hall to Boston situation happens. Unlikely but who knows

Didn’t realized Larkin has a full ntc, If the red wings tap out trying to extend him and ask him to waive, wonder what Larkin does. Cup chase as a hired gun or waive to a place that he is willing to extend with at the price he wants

That’s a pass by COL.</div></div>
Beauvillier just doesnt move the needle like you said. I wouldnt mind him as a low buy candidate hopping he rebuilds his game, but 4m aav for a guy who has been pretty bad to mediocre for few seasons in a row now, not worth he cap and isnt worth 1st round pick
