What would be the market for selling Dougie
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dgibb10</b></div><div>Glad to hear you think Igor Shesterkin and Quick are equivalent in play to vitek vanacek</div></div>
Hamilton wasn't even good at defense when he was on the canes who had one of the best defensive systems in the league. One of the many reasons they didn't re-sign him

Has he considered playing better?</div></div>
Trouba is +9, Hamilton is -8. Trouba has double the points excluding PP, which is is not on, and he actually plays defense unlike Hamilton. Plus he isn't a locker room cancer who has never lasted longer than three years on a team. Plus he is an actual leader. Hamilton wishes he was Trouba.

Considering Trouba is actually a good player he'd probably net a decent package in return but there'd be no reason for the Rangers to trade such a valuable piece so it's not even a relevant thought experiment

probably gonna have to pay another team to take his albatross of a contract. I'd say Dougie a 1st and a 2nd for future considerations would be the most realistic deal

Lopsided. Add Petey and we'll add Goodrow to make it fair

Kakko has been meh so whatever on that front. But I think Chytil is fantastic when healthy, and you're forgetting about Schneider and the two firsts which is the majority of the value in this deal.

I don't like this trade at all for the Rangers. Mortgaging the future like that for an albeit still elite but aging and rental Stammer is one of the last moves I would do. I would guarantee that Drury agrees with me

Matheson wouldn't crack the Rangers' top 4, It's set as Lindy-Fox, Miller-Troubs. And they have no need for him as Gus-Schneids has been an elite pair too

He's ~60th in E+/- and ~100th in DPS amongst dmen which is fine for a rookie but shows he's nowhere close to deserving of this team

How much do you think the Rangers would have to pay to get rid of Goodrow contract? Like in this case, no retention</div></div>
Tough to tell. It'd be different depending on the team. He's essentially a zero on offense but solid defensively and on the PK. I would say at most sending him alongside a first and receiving an asset back like a prospect or day 2 pick. I think more realistically would be alongside a second and a late pick

Kakko is underperforming but still a very valuable asset, and Schneider is worth way more to the rangers than Batherson. They would need to be completely blown away to part ways with a young, cost-controlled, high-potential asset like Schneider

gonna sound insanely biased but Cuylle deserves a spot in the NHL list and Perreault deserves a spot in the out of NHL list. He looks like the best player on his line with Smith and Leonard. The other two are better prospects but I think Perreault at least looks fantastic
