Buyout

Yzerman wouldn't offer him 2 years before UFA. Just 1.</div></div>
What position does he primarily play? On here he’s listed as a C/LW but i know this isn’t always accurate.

do you think he’d take around 2Mil? I was thinking he would want more so I chose Bailey

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BestGMBenning</b></div><div>I think there’s still a decent chance for Hallander to come back. He’s still on the more younger side and a prospect I seen having a solid ceiling as an NHLer. He seems to have a solid two way game and plays with the energy that the team would need. He made some good strides with his offence this season and looked more promising. I was honestly really surprised the he went back to Europe. I’m still a bit sad about that. Same with Bjorkvist. He may not be the kind of guy to put up crazy offensive numbers but he’s be a decent bottom 6 defensive energy type of forward as well. Wish them the best them though</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Play_Party_Hard</b></div><div>I believe I read Hallander wants to be closer to family Sweden. I think he's there for good.</div></div>
Hallander signed in Sweden for 4 or 5 years. pretty fair to say he’s staying there for good.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hockeyfan1234</b></div><div>Yager, Poulin, and Laatsch were the stars of the prospect development camp 3 v 3’s. I think you have him too low.
I think Pieniniemi is number 1. There’s a reason they signed him so early and I think he is one of the steals of the draft. He’s probably the most nhl ready if the defensemen.
I’d rate LD as Pieniniemi, Pickering, Laatsch, Kangas, Belliveau. They all had their good points of development camp. I’d probably swap Broz and Poulin too. However everything else looks pretty spot on imo.</div></div>
Not gonna lie I don’t know too much on Laatsch so thanks for the info. I think Broz and Poulin can be flipped but in terms of potential I think Broz can become a legit middle-6 center while I think Poulin will stay as a bottom-6 forward. Pieniniemi and Pickering are both intriguing prospects and I think that both will develop into top-4 D. Thank you for the insight on Laatsch!

Acciari had a 20 goal 2019/20 campaign when he was playing with better players. Maybe Crosby can bring back that spark. Same could be said for Johnsson about his 2018/19 season. Nylander could definitely be a fit as well!</div></div>
Would even like to see Puustinen gets some reps too with either Sid or Geno

Maybe Guentzel-Crosby-Acciari, Smith-Malkin-Rakell, Rust-Granlund-Nylander, O'Connor-Eller-Nieto/Johnsson
Carter, Rutta and a backup need to be moved. Use the money to upgrade 3RD(about $4.5M without retention)</div></div>
Don’t know how I feel about Acciari as the 1RW. He’s a pure defensive and grit guy. perfect for the bottom-6. Now taking Nylander or Johnson on Sid’s wing and there’s a different conversation. Could open up both of their offensive potential.

I really like Murashov. I think he’s gonna surprise some people and can develop into a true 1G, with time of course. I like Blomqvist too don’t get me wrong but in terms of raw potential I think Murashov gets the edge.
I debated Ansons and Järventie a ton. I think in terms of being a better overall player I think Ansons takes it and can be a good bottom-6 forward. That being said I think Järventie’s offensive game can propel him into a middle-6 scoring winger. He still has a lot of work to do on his game, but again, talking raw potential, I think Järventie can develop into a beast. I think Ansons has a better chance of becoming an NHL player yes I think Järventie has a lower chance of becoming an NHLer but better chance of becoming a star if he does make the NHL.

This isn’t necessarily lines just positional depth. I know Granlund plays RW too but I kept him in the C spot. Team has stated that they view Eller as the 3C hence why he’s above Granlund

Especially for that return lol</div></div>
O’Connor is a solid bottom-6 forward who did great for Team USA. He’s a power forward who can work in the corners and is young. Nylander is a guy who never got a shot at the NHL with the Penguins but I believe could be valuable to a rebuilding team like San Jose. He could get ice time there and surprise some people and he’s 25. I understand your point on Coe and I threw in the pick cus that’s what I saw as fair. There is some bias on my side as a Penguins fan so you can add picks on either side to make it fair.

He still has potential and I believe that he could develop well for the Hurricanes. Picks could be added to either side to make the deal more fair.

I'm also very fine with the top 4 as is (Graves, Pettersson, Letang, Petry) Pettersson played well with both Petry and Letang last year and I imagine Graves will as well.
I understand the fascination with Karlsson, he's a stud but getting him means the bottom six remains as is, and that's awful. If they can move Granlund/Rutta/1 goalie they can easily improve the 3rd line a ton.</div></div>
I believe they view Eller as the 3C plus Dubas wants to add another goalie not move one.

I don’t see the vision here honestly. The bottom 6 is atrocious and this is without Granlund. The D is the same as last year essentially just swap Dumo with a better version of himself.

I think we should play Puustinen with Granlund to try to give Granlund a spark. Sign a new 3RW fine but then we should trade Nylander don’t just let him rot as a scratch. Same with Smith. Smith shouldn’t just rot as a healthy scratch if we’re not gonna play him. Trade him too if we sign a 2LD or 3LD. I’m fine with not signing Hill but I don’t wanna move that 14th OA unless we’re trading back and get a late 1st and 2nd or multiple 2nds and a 3rd.
