Dubois if Cup Final goes past June 22nd
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xqb15a</b></div><div>That’s called maturity and it takes some guys longer than others and some never get it, but the kids got lots of physical tools that can’t be taught. I would take him back in COL in heart beat.</div></div>
I also forget to mention that Montreal have a strong young defensive core : Guhle, Reinbacher, Hutson and Mailloux are all over Barron in my opinion.
Barron have some value, but I'm sure that they will gonna use it for a young top-6 foward.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xqb15a</b></div><div>I think he has top 4 potential too. Dmen take longer to develop, and hockey fans have forgotten not every player hits their potential by the time they are 21</div></div>
The problem is Barron is that he is very nonchalant on his play. He needs more constancy.

Ideal draft for MTL
I hear that if Montreal really wants Sennecke, they will likely gonna make a trade with the Jets pick to go in the 12-18th overall range instead of drafting him in the top 8.

I mean, Kulich haved relatively the same type of season in the AHL.

There somes rumours is that he REALLY wanted to get traded to the Habs when he was with Columbus and when he was with Winnipeg. So, my perception of this is that he will gonna playing well if he is with the Habs.

Seems like Bergevin can REALLY take his place in one season or two (that's been said by Friedman recently). I don't think that's will gonna be only Blake who will gonna take that decision, I'm sure that Luc will gonna have his word on this one.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hawksguy81</b></div><div>I'm not so sure. If the draft order doesn't change other than this trade:
Sharks take Celebrini
Habs take Demidov
Anaheim takes Leshevnov
Columbus - they could use another forward more than a LD. Best player available would be Dickinson or Saliyev, but Lindstrom fits what they need more IMO.
Hawks - get screwed
What Columbus does at #4 is the huge unknown here.</div></div>
Columbus will gonna take Buium at 4. They really need a LD who can be great offensively.

Lindstrom have somes strong chances that he drop out of the top 5.

Michkov droped because he already haved a selection of teams that he wanted or he didn't wanted to play...... Also, somes reports said that he haved somes attitude problems, and that's not the case of Demidov.

Xhekaj is closer to Vlasic in value.
Guhle deserves 7 x 6M, if he bridges 2,3 years he'll get 4, 4.5M.
Which shows how overpaid Vlasic is</div></div>
I think they maked the same type of mistake of what the Sabres did with Samuelsson.....

Guhle is by far better than Vlasic, but Kent Hughes is a master to underpaid his players.

Necas is a terrible 200 foot players who had one good season last year. Is number are comparable to Jonathan Drouin. He is more of a finisher ill gave him that but Necas ain’t a superstar at all. There better option via Free Agency, id rather overpay for a Ufa than waste all these assets on a 2nd line winger who disappear each year in the playoffs.</div></div>
5pts in 5 games.....
I can name a lot of players who REALLY disappear during the playoffs : Dubois, Kaprizov, Fiala, etc......

Realistic 24-25
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Habs_22_14_20</b></div><div>Nothing is realistic here …
Necas for a former 2022 1st round pick
A 2024 1st round pick
A 2025 1st round pick
A 2025 2nd round pick
MTL retaining their last slot on Armia
This is wayyyy off</div></div>
- I personally think that Mesar is in the bust scenario. I just don't think he has the edge to play in the professional level than somes players like Beck or Roy. He is great in the OHL and the WJC, but at the pro level, he didn't really surprised...
- 20th overall isn't really a lot of what that is... and that's a great pick for a player like Necas. I think that he need a fresh start, and I'm ok if he hits the 60-70 pts mark (and I know that he can).
- They will likely gonna receive the 2025 1st round pick from Florida instead of the Flames one (because of the conditions), means that pick will gonna be between 26 to 32.
- I think they will gonna use the last slot for Armia. Carolina will likely gonna want Armia to help KK for a bounce-back of his career. Dvorack is in the cap dump scenario (and Kent Hughes will likely gonna try a Hoffman trade 2.0 with the Hawks trade). They will not gonna use for Savard, Anderson or Gallagher, especially that they will gonna be a massive mistake to trade Savard away because he have somes value for our young group.
And the last point : Kent Hughes isn't afraid to overpay for a player that he will gonna really wants.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>spockrock</b></div><div>They don’t “need” to sign ALL of those players. They’ll finally have reason to tap into their prospect pool and fill a few spots with young players on ELCs.
Again, if Necas only costs $6.5M, there’s no reason for CAR to let him go.</div></div>
I 1000% know that somes of them will not gonna return to Carolina because they will not gonna want to resign them, but they have somes players that they really need to keep : Guentzel, Jarvis and Skjei.
