Nothing is realistic here …
Necas for a former 2022 1st round pick
A 2024 1st round pick
A 2025 1st round pick
A 2025 2nd round pick
MTL retaining their last slot on Armia
This is wayyyy off

I can’t believe all those Necas trade. What did i miss? Necas is a terrible 200 foot players who had one good season last year. Is number are comparable to Jonathan Drouin. He is more of a finisher ill gave him that but Necas ain’t a superstar at all. There better option via Free Agency, id rather overpay for a Ufa than waste all these assets on a 2nd line winger who disappear each year in the playoffs.

- I personally think that Mesar is in the bust scenario. I just don't think he has the edge to play in the professional level than somes players like Beck or Roy. He is great in the OHL and the WJC, but at the pro level, he didn't really surprised...
- 20th overall isn't really a lot of what that is... and that's a great pick for a player like Necas. I think that he need a fresh start, and I'm ok if he hits the 60-70 pts mark (and I know that he can).
- They will likely gonna receive the 2025 1st round pick from Florida instead of the Flames one (because of the conditions), means that pick will gonna be between 26 to 32.
- I think they will gonna use the last slot for Armia. Carolina will likely gonna want Armia to help KK for a bounce-back of his career. Dvorack is in the cap dump scenario (and Kent Hughes will likely gonna try a Hoffman trade 2.0 with the Hawks trade). They will not gonna use for Savard, Anderson or Gallagher, especially that they will gonna be a massive mistake to trade Savard away because he have somes value for our young group.

And the last point : Kent Hughes isn't afraid to overpay for a player that he will gonna really wants.

5pts in 5 games.....

I can name a lot of players who REALLY disappear during the playoffs : Dubois, Kaprizov, Fiala, etc......

I could see the Hawks taking on the last year of Dvorak with something roughly around Barron as the sweetner to do it (they could use a RHD prospect to slot in front of Rinzel who is still a couple years out and whoever they take this draft). I can't see them having any interest in trading down for a collection of lesser picks when they have 7 in the top 100 picks. They are way more likely to want to turn some of their quantity of picks into better quality than the opposite.

Hawks decline. They aren't trading back for Barron and a couple of 3rds. Dvorak costs that 2nd to move to Chicago.

As others have stated, I don’t see the Hawks moving back in the 1st round, perhaps instead of the Tampa 1st round pick (20 OV), Chicago sends Montreal their own (Chicago’s) 2nd round pick (34 OV).
