"Guerin would never deal with Nylander's agent", well, Conor Sheary signed a deal with Pittsburgh while Guerin was there, and weird concept, they have the same agent.

I was going to say MIN probably declines, however, this is an absolutely the most absurd take that I have seen on a trade in a while, I have to give you props for how far down you dug on this one, not that Bertuzzi probably just isn't a fit for this team at his cap hit and the dead cap #s

I've toyed with the idea of moving Zucc with retention, but it makes it really hard to be retaining anything past the 22-23 season with their dead cap charges going up $2M more in 23/24&24/25

I definitely do not disagree, however, I don't think he is ready for the 18-22 min that 2nd pair plays per night, but if he got the 13-16 that a third pair plays and got PP time, I think could be a great step in his development.

I didn't realize the cap crunch the Isles are in to be completely honest, I mean the Wild could take bailey on in that deal, they still have the cap space and could move him at the deadline, etc, or just hold him for a year, I don't think that would be overly unrealistic. I also don't think it would be unrealistic if he bounced back a little bit.

I mean, and Kadri isn't a product of Mackinnon, Makar, Landeskog, Raantanen, etc? Also, has there been a 35+ player that has been traded that has had 1+ppg?

I do not think that it makes sense for TOR to trade for him, but just from what the wild beat reporter has put out there, TOR has kicked the tires on multiple occasions and also there was an offer on the table at one point of Nylander straight up (prior to his torn pec in the fight versus Tkachuk, I think that is probably what you are referring to, not a hip)

Zuccarello is everything to kaprizov - this is the same GM who has quotes such as "we don't have time for petty bull****" or "this is about F**king winning", etc, you don't think that if he could get a significantly better player to play with Kirill at a net pretty much even all around in this world, that he wouldn't do it? I completely and utterly disagree.
Also, Dumba will absolutely get traded if he does not like the $3.5M contract that's put in front of him, as that is the amount the wild can afford to pay him.

Im guessing this is in reference to Kerfoot? and in a world where he has a $3M cap hit, they are $7M over the cap and they have a young LHD, who is arguably their best defender that they still haven't signed, that world.

Both of those players that you named absolutely had to be traded off their teams. Lou was ready to if not offered 7x7ish for Kadri (31, 38 at the expiration of his deal).
Kadri Vs Zuccarello 2021 season
71 70 Gms
28 24 G
59 55 A
13 21 +/-
Not saying that Zuccarello is equal to or close to equal to Kadri, but he can very well still perform at a level near Kadri, and has proven it at his age. Has Kadri proven that yet?
