All most Canucks fans want is a first + a top 4 D/top prospect

Have you ever heard the saying that the loudest voices are generally in the minority?

A trade would most likely be 1st, 2nd, Dufor.

I would do it in a heart beat, with that being said you need a RD prospect or Mayfield. I know Nucks fans don't value Mayfield that much but you can easily flip him at the deadline for a first round pick. Hell if you retain as well its likes 750k in cap. Any contender can easily squeeze him in so you would probs get more than Chariot and Savard did

Dufour just got promoted to canadas first line in WJ.

Guy is playing rly well. He’s going to be a solid nhler, i believe.

If want dufour, have to remove the 2nd, would think.

Why?

I'm saying that, yes, that is what most fans would want, but the loudest people think he is worth 2 firsts, an A level prospect plus a RHD

99 points is pretty darn good. Almost double the Isles leasing point scorer last year. He’s worth more than a first and some middling pieces

Chiarot, Savard, Foligno, Copp, Giroux all returned a first round pick or more in the past couple trade deadlines as pure rentals. Miller is far superior to all of them. Gonna tell me why Miller shouldn’t be valued more than these guys?

Easy no from Vancouver. This is no where near enough. Miller is basically a god it’s gunna cost at least barzal, who is a 20 goal 70 point guy making $10 million this coming season, to get Jt

This is not really apples to apples. Miller in a trotz system would not put up 99 points.

Why would a team trade for a player if they won’t succeed in their system? Maybe they should fire Trotz because he’s making the Isles an offensive blackhole

You should not be making trades on capfriendly if you don’t know that trotz was already fired.

It is not going to cost Barzal grimace

Patches and Bjorkstrand went for scraps yes the canucks have more leverage 100%. With that being said the return would be similar to a Giroux trade i.e a 1st, a B prospect and def more maybe another prospect or a player like Mayfield. Don't get your hopes up, JT Miller trade is going to very disappointing for Canucks fans

This is the most tired argument of all time. The islanders scored more 5v5 goals than the Canucks last year but miller scored more 5v5 points than anyone on the isles did.

Miller could easily be a point per game player under trotz’s system. He was under greens system and that system was terrible at generating offense

I promise I won’t rub it in your nose when miller is either traded for a much better return than Giroux got or is extended with the Canucks

You will get a better return that Giroux yea but you said its going to be a Barzal level return when it simply won't

I know he was. I was seeing if you would catch on. Why would YOU say he wouldn’t put up 99 points in a Trotz system. How is that relevant since Trotz isn’t even coach 😂 😂. You played yourself bud

I don’t agree with the person saying it would cost Barzal, but Miller wil still fetch a pretty good return

The loudest fans most certainly do not expect 2 first, a top prospect, and a rhd. In a Miller trade Vancouver needs a combination of 23 1st, rhd, a-tier prospect. Not all of them, but a package including some of those pieces

If pacioretty and bjorkstrand trades brought down millers trade value, you realize that means they also brought down barzals trade value, right?
