no more changes
He shouldn't get much more than what he is making currently, only played 39 games and yes he had 23 pts so makes him around a 48 pt / 82 games, so with this in mind here is what is applicable
What Evidence Can Be Presented
The evidence that can be used in arbitration cases includes:
The player's "overall performance" including statistics in all previous seasons - overall it was an ok performance
Injuries, illnesses, and the number of games played - injured only plaied half the season so that is against him
The player's length of service with the team and in the NHL - basically none
The player's "overall contribution" to the team's success or failure - this is something that will help him some as the team did better when he was healthy but honestly how much better.
The player's "special qualities of leadership or public appeal" - this would be a zero
The performance and salary of any player believed to be comparable to the player in the dispute - now this one you are comparing kappy and jonsson they had a good deal but it was based on 4 years and playing full seasons so if he wants that kind of money he will need to sign for a 4 year deal, i assume they want to do a 1 or 2 year deal so i would say under or at 1 million, his qualifying offer would only be at 1.07 mill max from what i understand as its a max of 120% of his base salary which is 832,500.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>moli92</b></div><div>I hope Sakic uses this as a comparable for Landeskog</div></div>
yeah the only issue with this is Gallager only cracked 50 pts twice Landeskog only had 1 full season under 50 pts, so in my opinion i think he will get closer to 7.5 mor like nylander.

how so? teams would be buying out the poor players and would have to leave and extra player available due to the rules, i think the CBO would help Seattle

well there is no real argument lol a guy who already has 2 40 goal seasons and hasnt scored less than 34 in a season and was still on pace for 44 based on an 82 game season vs a guy who other than this season barely cracks 25 goals a season.

Mikheyev - 39 GP - 8G - 15A
Nylander - 65 GP - 10G - 16A
seems to me that toronto would decline this trade anyways and Mikheyev probably will only get just over 1 mill due to only having less than 40 games under his belt.

I don't consider Bracco or Malgin NHL'ers.
Centre depth is now an issue in this scenario.
Interesting D combos and a solid top six up front. Not much beyond that.</div></div>
i agree with you the center depth will suffer but something hast to so we can build the back end. also it doesnt have to be NJ could be anywhere not sure who else you could move to make room instead so you could keep johnsson and/or kerfoot and push everyone else down.

but he can play the right side as he has before quite often so their right side is wide open for him.
