Typical Tampa Cap Manuvering
on what planet does TB trade a 20 goal scorer making 1,125 mil for 2 decent picks no way they can replace the player or production at that price ?

1st Timer
Not bad, think your contract projections are of a bit, Paul is gonna get more than that, and Fiala is gonna get more years, unless he wants 1 more pay day. And might need a different player than Bjork in that deal.

End of an ERA
Avs will do everything to keep Lehkonen. They know how good he is and that is why they paid a big price to get a 1st liner.

Boeser has enough value on his own for Vancouver to trade him by himself, and not add a cap dump.

Devils DeBrincat Offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>markhpre</b></div><div>If you wanted to swap all three of the former seconds for Holtz I would do that too, my perspective would be to take on those three but value wise it equals out.</div></div>
yeah no. In the eyes of GMs. Giving more quantity to even out does not even out. Whatsoever. Which is why I started with saying Quality over Quantity. I mean given the circumstances Chicago probably goes for 1st this year or next year and/or Holtz if gunning for DeBrincat. Obviously Chicago would want Hughes or Hischier, but that isn't going to happen so more realistic would be Mercer or Holtz or first round picks.

Looking at them
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>markhpre</b></div><div>Recently got ruled out on Campbell and he isn't worth that contract (at least the term on 5 per). Two veteran D don't make sense although I agree with the Manson signing. Ennis doesn't fit seems like nostalgia there, rather give youth playing time or sign someone like Motte for pk.</div></div>
Good notes. Will make a new team and incorporate these changes.

Sabres Kane Off-Season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>markhpre</b></div><div>Connelly for me was to get what I would've put as a 2nd rounder down to a 3rd and a 1.6 mil buyout with the amount of ELCs on the roster isn't a problem at all. Also Kane is still a 90 point a year guy, Olofson is gonna get 4.5 this yr probably on a short term and Casey hasn't become a top 6 really yet. !6th overall and two guys Chicago probably won't retain along w just a bonus 3rd for a superstar even at age 34 isn't that absurd.</div></div>
Chicago would retain both guys. Oloffson and Middlestadt have legit value. I get the idea of Kane and I support going after him. But ur overpaying based on market value.

Middlestadt, Oloffson and the 28th pick for Kane is probably a done deal for Chicago.

Chicago Rebuild gt Kane Goes Home
Would be smarter for Buffalo to wait a year, then sign Kane in free agency if they are interested in him. No need to waste draft capital on a guy who will be a UFA after 1 year.
