We are taking one of Parekh Iginla Catton or Dickinson
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SadSensFan14</b></div><div>Silayev is definitely better than Parekh in my opinion. The only 2 things are that he's a LD so the Sens aren't in need of his position as much, and he's russian, so he likely won't even come to NA for a few years, not to mention the Sens would have no control over his development.</div></div>
I like helenius as he is a right handed center plays a 200 foot game but probably ends up a winger. I see him a a safe pick as his tool's translate to the NHL better.

I'm thinking about swapping Catton and helenius

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SlickWilly</b></div><div>I understand the thinking. I'm personally more of a "draft the best player available" kinda guy because the draft and developing players in general is always such a crapshoot, but I suppose for markets that don't always attract big name FA's, you kind of have to go that route.</div></div>

They said next summer but I'd overpay for him as Nemec, Hamilton and now Casey could be their right side with Hughes and seighthier and Bahl on the left

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SlickWilly</b></div><div>Yeah I mean I agree Parekh would be ideal but I feel it would be silly to take a lesser prospect just because you already have sanderson. Buium may not be as flashy offensively but he's excelled against older competition at both the college and world junior level. Correct me if im wrong but it seems like the consensus among Sens fans is that Chabot is on the chopping block as well, which also gave into the thinking there</div></div>
Yes but Chychrun would probably get a better return so it would make sense to move on from him over Chabot

The return on 72 will not be great but it is what it is. Get Chychrun a good stay at home RD partner and I think he will excel next year.</div></div>
The same could be said about Chabot take the better return in Chychrun

If not sign Roy or Pesce. Kinda weird how RD is the hardest to find despite nearly 75% of the world being right handed</div></div>

Byfield offer sheet
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>Let's imagine a team with cap (not the Sens) have the cap for such a signed offer sheet. If the Kings in this case, think the cap is too high, I just think it's better to get the picks and spend that 8m elsewhere on UFAs or your own team.
One reason I think offer sheets don't work, is teams pay a player UFA money and then have to give up picks too. Just sign a UFA and keep the picks.</div></div>
Players like Byfield don't hit UFA

NTCs aside, that is just some interesting logic.</div></div>
Brannstrom is worth a 3rd. Sokolov is a good AHL player Thomson is probably going to Europe and Korpy is one of the worst contracts in the league

The Moose in the Room
Sens would accept if the 2025 pick is conditional.
If Rantanen resigns with the sens 2025 pick is transferred
If the 2025 pick is top 10 then the pick becomes a 2027 1st.
If the 2025 pick is forfeited then Colorado receives 2026 1st
If the 2026 1st is in the top 10 2027 pick is transferred
