Those trades aren't really realistic.
...but I'm here wondering what Gurianov has done to deserve a 4-year deal, at $3.25m per.

The Leafs are talking about Mrazek buyout. No way they get hart. The first does have some value though but not enough

Why in the world would Pittsburgh trade Jarry for Mrazek? Maybe you can add other players that Toronto AGMs have been trying to eject for years like Holl and Kerfoot.

That's fair. Mukhammadulin is living in the US already but whatever.
Fwiw as for your proposal, I can't see the Devils taking a chance on a criminal and besides, they have enough 4th Liners.

Rebuild
You don’t rebuild by trading away 1st round picks and half of our prospect pool. None of these deals make sense for Chicago at all.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Pain</b></div><div>Why would AZ do that LOL! They can get picks for taking on bad contracts, why would they pay just to each the cap floor 🤣</div></div>
It's actually been a talking point that Arizona has interest in Weber's contract. The real money on it is so much lower than the cap, that they would save a significant amount of money using his contract to hit the floor, rather than just signing guys.
They reportedly tried to acquire it at the deadline and Bettman shut it down because of how ugly things have looked in Arizona already with their cost cutting. Don't think MTL would get a relevant asset for it though, but in theory, it would beneficial to Arizona, Montreal and Weber if that trade happened. Both teams would save some money and Weber would have a significantly better tax situation.

The sharks should take that of course, but not sure that's the right move for Montreal.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>martm2k</b></div><div>I really don't find this sexy at all... For either team.
Not sure what it is but I can't see a fit either way.
Feels like Chicago pays too much and like Toronto isn't getting enough at the same time. Lol.
I'm not a fan of either Strome or Kurashev.
Also don't feel like Nylander is the one to trade if one of the core players needs to go.</div></div>
It’s an overpay for Chicago and the 1st and 2nd aren’t interesting pieces for Toronto. Neither team wants this deal.

Just imagine this
Doubling down on the top heavy strategy. Would be a good regular season team but that bottom 6 costs you come playoff time. This year has really hammered home the importance of having scoring depth.
