So over Ghost and Patrick
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>masterjuddi</b></div><div>For sure, but I watched Forsberg play over the last how many seasons and the guy's legit awesome. He played with C's like Johansson, Duchene, Turris and Bonino...all guys that took huge dips when playing in Nashville. Im not saying he'd score 40-50 with Giroux, but trade him to a team with an elite C and I think he gets pretty close 40-50.
Hall and Eichel isnt really a great comparison. Something is up in BUF, they cant seem to find a winger to play with Eichel</div></div>
Considering his average pace for an 82 game season is around 35 goals, I don't think 40-50 is out of the question at all.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>masterjuddi</b></div><div>Agreed. If you put Forsberg with a top C he's gonna score 40-50 goals (normal season)</div></div>
Which is one reason I don't want Nashville to move him. Find him a center to play with that can open the ice even more for him and he would be deadly.

Who clears waivers
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>masterjuddi</b></div><div>It's a crazy list. Getzlaf is the only one who's a pending UFA which would make the claim easier, but the teams who have cash wouldnt have the need for him unless they flip him to a contender and retain half his salary.
I want to make an argument for Doughty, cause I think he'll still be good for the rest of his contract, but 11 AAV for 7 years is insane</div></div>
I honestly think Ottawa passes on all 17. NJ might claim one of Suter, Seguin or Wheeler. I could see Detroit taking a flier on Price as they don't have much in the system in net. LA would for sure grab one and I could see Seguin being a draw in SoCal.

Compher Danault swap would be ideal for the Avs
but I dont think they have any interest in Armia so compher and a 1st doesn't make a lost of sense for them.
Simpler deal gets it done

Landeskog or Ryan Nugent Hopkins
landeskog isnt going anywhere,
Both Landy and the Avs have said they are going to get a long term contract done and whats its been reported that the already have a deal in place and just waiting for the cap to be finalized to announce it

We have so much cap and a ton of good young talent. Hawks could easily make a run next year. Still a lot of unkocwns in terms of Toews, or lankinen being able to sustain this long term, but we are in a great position.
Oilers probably don't pay that much to dump neal, his buyout is atcully not very bad (1.9 mil i think)... not worth broberg to clear 1.9 mil

Do People Overvalue Eichel
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>masterjuddi</b></div><div>All opinions are welcome!! that's what makes this site so awesome.
I just think it's so hard to put value on Eichel. He's an elite young C under contract for a long time. His value should be insane on the trade market. Guys like this dont get dealt too often</div></div>
I can agree with that!

He is available for sure and with the way he is playing and scoring since returning from injury 4 goals in his last 5 games there wont be a shortage of teams coming for him.

Forsberg is only 26.
You’re not going to get Forsberg with a middle 6 winger and a top 4 potential D prospect. It’s not enough.

Nashville declines. They will want an offer in the neighborhood of a 1st, Samberg and a roster player.

Kreider for Hischier
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>masterjuddi</b></div><div>That's just not true man. Some do for sure, but you're getting Nico in his prime years while the Devils grow together as a team. Kreider will be paid 6.5 till he's 35, which are post prime years.
Zibanejad didnt hit 70 points until he was 25, he had 47 in when he was 22
Scheifle had 61 points at 22 and has been more than a point per game player since.
Nico has a ceiling, where as Kreider is on the back 9. Plus C's are more more valuable</div></div>
Mackinnon is another great example. Went from 52 points to 97 points age 22-23 seasons.

Kreider for Hischier
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PrimeDatsyuk</b></div><div>dude it's not even close in value stop trying to justify it</div></div>
Same contracts, same point production, only difference is age and position. And I made up for age by adding a draft pick. Also, if Hischier was worth more, they would have paid him more. It is not some accident that these two players make the same salary after having three similar seasons.

I get the point production is similar one big thing tho AGE. Rebuilding team doesn't want age, and Nico's their captain he's virtually untouchable this is why ur getting flamed.
