Marner Trade that Actually Works
Bro, even at 2.75M, Anderson wouldn't be worth it with his production. He has fourth line production. That would be a very expensive fourth liner. They could find a better or similar player for cheaper in free agency and not give away elite talent.

Jack > Quinn (because of term mainly)
Miller > Hamilton
Hronek > Mercer (or maybe equal?)
Hoglander < Marino (Not too sure because I know Marino struggled a bit this year but he’s still a top 4 RHD)
Obviously neither are happening though, unless Jack and Luke decide they want to come be Quinn’s assistant captains /s</div></div>
And from my view it can't work without Hamilton in terms of cap and role. Luke Hamilton and Quinn can't all coincide on the same team and NJD can't afford Luke Quinn and Dougie
From a pure hockey perspective honestly Luke as the centerpiece of a quinn trade would make the most sense, but obviously would make no sense for non hockey reasons.

Canucks aren't gonna have any interest in Rielly. He's never gonna get any PP1 time which limits his value.

Nearly 6M for a defensive liability who puts up 30-35 points isn’t a great asset. Im just joking. Pionk might be the worst dman in the league. Jets should just buy him out. If the rest of the NHL is smart then they would ask for at least a 2nd to take on his contract, if not a first.

That BUF trade is bad for the Canucks. They'll be able to get a better package for Hronek if they do decide to trade him.

Soft players Ive seen people offer for Brady
Is this supposed to be a Matthew Tkachuk thread? Because seeing Pettersson on there is wildly optimistic.
Brady and Matthew are not the same player. Brady has better physical tools but doesn’t have anywhere near the toolbox Matthew has.

I agree, Tkachuk is more of a first line player than a franchise player like even stutzle or Pettersson

Ah yes with a 25 year old Pettersson and a 24 year old Quinn Hughes I'm sure the decline is going to be off a cliff which would be really unfortunate because I'm not sure if you know this but Brady tkachuk is the exact same age as Quinn Hughes and Tkachuk hasn't done a single thing in this league, guess you guys are off to rebuild the rebuild

Because Matthew does everything Brady does but better we've seen what a better version Brady gets in a trade and it's sure as **** alot less than what your claiming Brady would go for

Only 1 of these players threw a temper tantrum at an empty net goal. I’d argue Brady is the “softest” of all the players you have listed here.

I can't tell if this is supposed to be satire but moving on from your vezina nominee goaltender who is signed to 5 million a year just because a 23rd year old 6th round pick had an ok game might be the worst idea in Canucks history with all due respect. This move would take the Canucks tandem from being top 3 to bottom 5

I’m okay with not trading for Pettey. The guys I don’t want to move are:
Tkachuk, Stutzle, Giroux, Pinto, Greig, Sanderson, Zub and 7th overall. I’m on the fence about Batherson but I’d upgrade Bath in a big blockbuster if there is one
