Paul can probably get that deal from Tampa. Carter is your 3C and thats almost a lock.

I dont see any way Chicago does that. Defense prospects is so far down theor list of needs and Strome has higher value right now</div></div>
I was reading that Chicago might not qualify him so if they can get something for him I dont see why they wouldnt. If he isnt qualified I still think he would be a good option. I do not see a way that Monahan is in Calgary next year but someone paid more money than you and I will make that decision.

I would think they have to at least try to resign Vatrano and Motte both are built for the playoffs and have proven their worth so far.

Olivier is another canidate for a bottom six role. Remember they brought him in in the playoffs, so that means they think highly of him. Evangelista is another one who is similar to Tomasino who could be a replacement for Tolvey

And you're lying about what people are saying about Edvinsson. Yzerman himself says he could be on the Red Wings next season. Just stop. The hockey knowledge isn't there with you. You're embarrassing yourself to be honest.</div></div>
He could be on the roster next year but that does not mean he make the impact Seider did. If you are happy keeping your team and waiting for prospects just be prepared to not be playing hockey in may for a few years. Cause that division is only getting better.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PredsWingsFan</b></div><div>Where does it say or who is your source that Edvinsson is 3 years away? he literally matched pretty much everything Sieder did last year in the SHL. Yzerman said Edvinsson is believed to be even more explosive than Sieder in his play where they feel they might need to tame him a bit. Edvinsson and Berggren would be traded if a Hedman or that level piece would be coming back (and was needed). Edvinsson & Sieder will make a better one/two combo than Hedman and Sergachev can (out of the 4 sergachev would be the 4). It sounds like you have absolutely NO knowledge of anything to do Red Wings.</div></div>
Hedman did not come into the league and dominate right away, Dahlin did not come into the league and dominate right away. And they were both taken higher the Edvinsson. He MAY become a good player her MAY not. He was the third defenseman taken in his draft. All I'm saying is Stevie Y has traded high picks before and that it could come back that Sergachev was a better player then Edvinsson. If the Wings keep their current roster and wait for all their prospects you will be out of the playoffs for three more years and if you don't see that you do not know hockey out of the state of Michigan.

Didn't you hear? Steve Yzerman is a complete moron who's trying to run the Red Wings into the ground according to the CFACGM geniuses.</div></div>
He trades the majority of his first round picks so thinking they are untouchable is on you. Edvinsson is three years away from being a factor on an NHL team, according to most Swedish defense prospects (Hedman, Dahlin). Sergachev makes an amazing top pair for you for 5-8 years to come.

Pk you can probably get cheap, and rutta might cost 1.5-2m. Pk has that huge upside that tampa has been good at getting out of older dmen. Dzingel is a very very good defensive forward and ABB is kinda a AAAA player at this point</div></div>
I just dont see PK taking that much of a pay cut. But I agree Tampa will find a vet for under a million and they will do great. I would argue that Tampa does not need anymore defensive forwards if you resign paul. The only person you are omitting from the current team is Palat. He will be missed for his secondary scoring more then anything. I still think he more the 50% chance he comes back. He is part of the core.

I think you could save your money on PK and Dzingel. You have Barre Boulet in the AHL who can play in the top six. Use that money to sign Rutta instead.

The defense has no true #1 and outside of that top line you wouldnt be able to compete in the east.

I just cant see Forsberg not returning to Nashville. They have the cap space, its a desired location in the league. The only way he moves on is if he has no interest in returning. If he does not return this team takes a huge step back.

You are missing the point of the Sharks goalie surplus and Hill is the odd man out after a below expectation season. Dreidger is someone who can go into a team and be a back and maybe a 1a. Hill on the other hand IMO is on the fridge of being an NHL back up kind of like Garret Sparks or Charlie Lindgren. Hence the higher return. BTW not a Kraken fan.

I disagree.. They clearly have a goalie surplus and teams will just wait it out until the price drops plus his cap hit isn't great for the performances this year.
