Debrincat
Debrincat plays on the left side and he would require a monster return, he's our biggest piece to build around

This feels like Schmaltz for Strome all over again...and we're getting Strome

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Anus_McLeod</b></div><div>I would agree but GMs tend to value roster players more than we do, and Compher is young enough to help usher younger guys in over the next handful of years. He seems to play well in his hometown too.</div></div>
I mean it's not a terrible trade but he only has one year left so if he's willing to take a hometown discount then maybe, otherwise we'll be flipping him next year

I don't think we really have a need for Compher when we're rebuilding

Trade deadline
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Saskleaf</b></div><div>If the leafs can’t trade him it’s almost guaranteed they will buy him out. But I’m not sure why the hawks wouldn’t take this deal. Chicago needs a goalie and if they can get assets back with Mrazek maybe they take a flyer on him. Maybe not, maybe they want retained salary in this deal or something but it isn’t completely unreasonable. And to think Dermott is “dead cap” is stupid. He’s a decent young 3rd pairing defenseman. He has positive value, so if the hawks don’t want him, the leafs are perfectly happy either keeping or trading him elsewhere.</div></div>
Keep him then, we have a plethora of 3rd pair d on entry level contracts

So here's a critical comment, your value are off on all your trades, no teams will accept any of the trades because you're not giving enough to get what you want back.

You're not getting more than a mid-late 1st round ick and a B prospect for him. He hasn't been worth more than that ever.</div></div>
Bro we turned down multiple offers for a first and top prospect. He'll get a massive return if he's moved. He's someone we can build around. Top end speed, great 2way play, going to score 30 this year, and under long term control for cheap

At this point, I want three solid pieces for him, if it's a true contender like tampa that pick will be in the 29-32 range so I'd ask for 2 first rounds and an A level prospect

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>exo2769</b></div><div>It's hard to predict the future, but are you upset with the return he got for Connolley? Stillman's pretty good imo. I'm trying to be fair to other team's prospects. I'm sure you've seen Steeves play a bunch at UND...he's pretty decent too.</div></div>
I'm against taking on bad money unless it's a one year deal. I'd rather use it in FA to sign and flip someone or be a salary broker at next years TDL. I like Stillman he's fine, but I don't see him being a top four guy and don't like the trade we made. We also threw in Carlsson who's looked better since the trade
