Personally I'd go four righties and play Crozier over deHaan, but don't really have anything but opinion to back that up.

Blackhawks 2024 draft pick(s) update needed
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>the1tab</b></div><div>The Blackhawks didn't yet own the Nashville pick to include that in the condition on the trade w/ Toronto. It was, at that time, the lower of Chicago's or Calgary's.</div></div>
The condition was "The 5th round pick transferred to Toronto will be the lowest of the 2024 5th round picks that Chicago owns at the time of the draft." So as of right now, that's Nashville's 5th

2023-2024 NHL Discussion Thread #5: The Final Stretch
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sensonfire</b></div><div>Obviously, I'm biased about Chychrun's trade value, but I acknowledge that there's a distinct possibility we might get less than what we paid for him.
With that said, any trade for Chychrun should be about saving face.
I think an acceptable return on Chychrun would be a 1st + two 2nds, regardless of how high the 1st is.
It doesn't have to be #12 overall and it can even be #32 overall.
I also think that something like what Calgary got for Noah Hanifin as a pending UFA at the trade deadline would be acceptable.
A 1st + a conditional 2nd + a big right shot depth defenceman with a low cap hit.
As for what Chychrun might sign for, anywhere between 6.5 million and 8 million on an 8 year deal is well within his reach.</div></div>
I think you might be in for a positive surprise. I’m pretty sure a big knock to Chychrun’s value was his historic injuries and time missed. At the time yall got him, it was a very safe bet to assume he’d miss 25%++ of the season cause that’s kinda how it had been, give or take. That had to scare away buyers. Playing a full 82 and playing pretty okay shows not only that he has the fitness/awareness to do it, but all the previous stuff is in the past also. I don’t think you can accidentally play 82, esp as a d.

I was going to say considering what was paid for originally for chychrun, as a leafs fan I was thinking of offering Robertson, a first plus for chychrun. So for that deal I say definitely. Sign me up for chychrun lol.
I definitely think Ottawa can get much more for Chychrun.

Why all of your trades in AGM should be with Arizona
He's selling the team and the contracts but not the Coyotes or its management staff.
Plan is they're going to try to make a deal with Tucson Roadrunners to work with them
Tucson never struggled to fill an arena and they had a loyal fanbase for years at the AHL level
They're not the place to support an NHL level team though in my opinion
NHL is giving them like a 5 year window to get an arena built and ready for a team
Then they'll likely give them an expansion franchise and all the benefits that go with the Expansion draft.
If they do that it wont take long for this 2nd Generation GM to turn things around and restock the depth charts.
But ARZ Owners gotta get their crap together or it all fades away

Turned down offers from three Canadian teams because he didn't want to play there and had a couple interviews about not wanting to play in Canada. I know he spurned both the leafs and the Oilers. Apparently someone asked him about it pre game in Toronto this year.

When Timo was traded to NJD, Nico had talked about how being on the east coast felt a lot closer to home...so just my speculation that trade list would reflect something similar

These picks have all previously been update to no longer show conditional and have their updated owners.
The only one I don't follow is the Patrick Kane trade. The condition is Arizona will receive the better of either NYR or DAL 3rd round picks. This won't be known until next year.

1 year with team then gone

Add Korpisalo to that mix.
There is just something seriously wrong with their team structure/defensive system to have that many players that are NHL average or better suck when they are Senators. Then when goalies leave they look amazing all of a sudden. The Senators need an elite coach and some major changes to their accountability/training/roles
