Thanks.
Interesting. If so I need to make a couple minor changes to this.

Shattenkirk is getting at least 3-3.5M and not from Tampa.
Dont think Verhaeghe is top 6 ready, i hope JBB makes a run at Bobby Ryan for a 1 year 1M deal for 2RW
Swap the values on Cirelli and Sergachev, give Cirelli an extra year.</div></div>
Rutta or Bogosian, either is fine.
Shattenkirk would get more but I prefaced in my notes that he takes a one year deal to stay with Tampa since the Rangers are still paying him.
Sergachev is worth more to me then Cirelli at the moment, Cirelli at 4.25 is a fair deal he has not put up the points to ask for more then that. Sean Couturier type money who grew into the scoring.
Verhaeghe, Volkov, ABB one of them will have to step up. Ryan on a cheap deal would be intriguing.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rangsey</b></div><div>That's a no from Tampa. They moved ADA for a reason and he's not as good as Sergy. There's no really cap saving here either. Sergy plays well on the right side and really well on the pp until.
Plus they don't need to replace Shatty because the Rangers are still paying him not to play so he'll sign on the cheap again. :-P</div></div>
I have wondered if Shatty would take another 1 year cheap deal with Tampa because he will be getting $6M from the Rangers. But then if someone is willing to pay him big bucks now after this season at his age he would have to look at that.

As long as BriseBois is the GM of the Lightning then Anthony DeAngelo will never be a player for the Lightning. Look up my post history to see the reasoning, too tired to type it again.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>VastBluepuppy424</b></div><div>If he don't plays and we win the cup, well we are 91% will be thinking about moving Stamkos</div></div>
The Lightning will not try to trade Steven Stamkos regardless if he plays this playoffs or not. His case is unique in the fact that he is the face of the franchise in the local market here in Tampa. The Lightning and the area have a really good decent sized tight knit following locally but Stamkos is the only player that transcends that core group of people who follow the Lightning. Even non Lightning and hockey fans know who Steven Stamkos is, the team will keep that as it continues to grow the game here in Tampa and lets not forget even with all the injuries and bad luck he has had he is still a great player.

2020-21 Cernak and Gourde
<a href="/users/Rooney" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@Rooney</a> Considering WPG is getting the better two players in the trade they would have to eat the entirety of Gourde's contract who can be a 50+ point player given the minutes. Its an interesting concept and different.
I do not think the Lightning would make this deal as I think they plan on keeping Gourde move out other players and try to bridge Cernak on a 2 year deal if they can move the cap around enough. If they can't and had to trade Cernak I think they could get a low round 1st for him to the right team. RFA stay at home RHD who has averaged 19min a night the past two years are hard to come by.

Brayden Point will not be traded by the Lightning. It just will not happen. You will need to target someone else. He is the Bolts future for the next 10-12 years.

Sergachev
Don't see how this trade helps the Lightning. They would be better off trying to keep Sergachev as they have some forward depth to offset the loss of some players this off season but they really only have 1 decent defender in the pipe line in Foote and he will need to be sheltered next year.

Thread:
Yanni Gourde is on one right now
The Lightning will not have to add a draft pick to trade Yanni Gourde. Been saying it on this board for months he is a good player that a lot of teams would want. Also if Yanni is traded it will need to be for picks and prospects, the Lightning cannot take any salary back if they are going to try and sign their RFAs. So I would say the Lightning would not make this deal. They would think about it in a 1 for 1 trade (no salary retention) as they have flirted with acquiring Risto before even though I don't think Risto would be a good fit on the Bolts but that doesn't clear cap like they need.

For the trade I was thinking something similar for 9oa from MN. I think BUF takes Lundell with 8oa.</div></div>
I am just telling you what he said. He could have asked that the question not be asked at all. Tampa finds was to keep their RFAs so I expect them to try and sign him to a bridge deal.

It wont be too long now, just a couple months and we will know based on what they are saying about how the off season will go.
Tampa gets their RFAs to sign bridge deals so I expect that is what he would sign to stay with Tampa.

Stamkos has rounded out his game after all the injuries and is now a good 200 foot player, good Face Off guy, great PP guy and PPG player for his career. How is that overrated? Some on here think he is better then he his but to say he is overrated is not correct.

Stamkos is the face of the franchise here in Tampa, he is the Lightning player who everyone in Tampa knows regardless of if they follow the team or not. They would not trade him unless he asked which I dont see happening.
Also Point and Cirelli are the 1 and 2 for Tampa and its been that way since last season. Stamkos has been playing majority of his time at 1 LW.

I think this is a underpayment for Killorn. He does everything good, PP, PK, 200 ft game, will give you 40 - 50 points, perfect power forward complimentary winger for your top 6 center. I hope the Lightning can keep him and trade others first but thats unlikely due to Killorns modified NTC.

Read some of my prior responses. Or <a href="/users/Hedman77" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@Hedman77</a> responses to this trade on here.
But anyway Tampa drafted him, he played his first season in the AHL for the Syracuse Crunch where Julien BriseBois was the GM at the time. There were rumors during his time with the Crunch that the leadership group of players demanded he be benched that season. If that is true no one knows but what is known is that he was healthy scratched around 10 times during his rookie season and the Crunch beat writer at that time said BriseBois would only say of DeAngelo it was a coaching decision. The beat writer also wrote that GM and player meeting did not go well at all. I am sure you can find an article or two thru the old google box. The first moment they could they traded him, BriseBois would never answer the phone if DeAngelo's name is brought up.

If McDonagh waives his NTC there will be plenty of suitors and bring back a decent return, when not injured he is still a horse out there. No way would they need to package him with Cirelli. If McDonagh waives that clears a good chunk of the cap space the Lightning would need to re-sign their RFAs Cirelli and Sergachev.
