Kudos for the effort for making relatively interesting post in terms of trading, but imo some valuations and more the targets for these exchanges are tad off.

Detroit is not looking to be a playoff team on a short timeframe. The fact they traded Hronek and Bertuzzi for first rounders while still competing for a playoff spot speaks volumes about Yzerman thinking they're not ready yet. I don't think the switch from Husso to Hellebuyck is changing that direction...if there is a team to trade a first rounder for Hellebuyck, it would be from one that's confident in their ability to make the playoffs next year, as he likely is a rental goalie.

BOS is cap strapped big time, so they're not exactly in position to take in Dubois now, who is likely to cost fairly close to as much as the entire package going Jets' way here. BOS needs to shed cap, not increase it.

Stanley is a sheltered 24-year old D-man that's not likely to be a fit in the lineup in any team save for the bottom-5 teams in the league. Buffalo does not have a need for LHD. You could try someone taking him as a depth D, but the more correct valuation for him rn is something closer to what Bear got (5th+fringe player).

ARI is able to make it to cap minimum without taking additional contracts...they're financially so f*cked their upper limit rn is probably around $60-65M dollars lol. I think Schmidt would be a better fit in Chicago for instance.

Lastly, I just don't see a scenario where WSH ends up paying to rid themselves of Mantha. They've invested way too much for him, so either they get positive value out of him or they just suck it up and keep him.

I like the Wild trade though. Wheeler going home sounds solid to me, and they really need to change something up - that first round is such a curse for them right now.
