I don't disagree with what you're saying in order to keep Saad but if we got Nylander and Panarin (highly unlikely) Saad isn't really needed and go grab Nurse which a 1 or 2 LHD is needed.</div></div>
I think Faulk and Nurse are about comparable in terms of skill, but Faulk is more defensive and Nurse is more offensive.

Look at the point shares on this. Nurse is younger and has more points, but Faulk is a more defensive defenseman which is really what we need.

I like all these moves...BESIDES grabbing Faulk. We don't need any RHD guys. Forsling sucks, has no business on any lines, he's nothing more then a 7th swingman. Grab Nurse for saad from edmonton, then you have...
Keith - Murphy
Nurse - Jokiharju
Gus - Seabs
Dahlstrom or Forsling
That's a way more solid D lineup.
Kabulik I'm almost sure is signed in Russia next year and Hawks can't bring him over. Caggs should play 3rd line anyway and Enwistle, Hagel or Barratt should be ready.
Nylander is obviously risky. This is pretty close in value, but I'd argue throw in Kahun instead of Sikura and it gets the deal done.

Swap Cs with Columbus-at the draft
I don't think we give up a 2nd for Wennberg. Anisimov, Forsling or Perlini, and a 4th would probably do it.

Lets Talk New CBJ Lineups
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>vmach</b></div><div>I feel like Duchene is CBJ's best bet. He has been with 3 teams last year and he probably needs to settle down. Plus CBJ's GM will probably push him hard, including but not limited to offering him an over-payment, to justify all the sacrifices made during TDL. (its always easier to justify overpayment then losing all rentals).
Dzignle also has a good chance of staying, but if Chicago gives him something similar in value to Columbus, he is gone. I for one will not be surprised to see Dzingle in Chicago next year, I'll actually be more surprised if Hawks go for Panarin. I'd feel like Panarin Toews Kane line will be an overkill. (especially as Debrincat quietly developed into a 40 goal scorer on 2nd line).</div></div>
I really think all signs point to Bob and Bread being in Florida next year. Thats where they expressed interest in going, and they have all the leverage as UFAs to make it happen. I can see them even giving Florida a slight contract discount to get their wish. Bread is friends with Dadanov down there and I think mentally is sort of “been there, done that” with regard to Chicago. Chicago would have 3 players eating almost half their entire roster salary if Panarin signed there. A reunion seems unrealistic. Hard to blame a Russian for dreaming about warm weather and sandy beaches. While nothing is for certain, I do think a high probability to resign Duchene and/or Dzingel was in Jarmo’s calculation. I can only guess there were some private talks about “gentlemen’s agreements” for future contracts

Total rebuild the defence
Gardiner as a 1st liner especially on the right with Jokiharju, Mitchell and Boqvist not to mention Seabs on the right...please tell me this is a joke? That's an absolute waste of money.
I love the Hoffman trade as I've always thought he would be a great compliment to the Hawks 1st 2 lines.
Keith isn't going anywhere...not happening. He will not waive.
Save your money on Gardiner and grab Panarin or Stone or Skinner.

Trades AVS OTT CHI
Kerfoot > bura. That’s an easy no for Colorado. Why downgrade?
Duchene will get more than that. He’ll get a first round pick plus A level prospect MINIMUM.
Gustafson is on pace for over 50 points. He’s signed to an incredibly cheap 1.2 mill contract and hawks NEED as much D help as they can get. Even if they were to trade him they could definitely get more

I'm assuming by "rights to Scott Darling" you are referring to the Rangers buying the remainder of his current contract prior to July 1st in order to try to resign him. Darling is a UFA after his current contract, not a RFA.
