Description

This team isn’t as bad as they are made out to be, if they grab a couple wingers they can easily make the playoffs and then some, provided their goaltending plays league average, btw I am completely guessing on lower level RFA resignings because I don’t follow the team that closely. I didn’t want to put a ton of thought into dumping Sekera’s contract so I just showed that he gets dumped and the cost isn’t pretty but they just gotta bite the bullet, the D core now looks pretty good but not amazing, my thought though is that Bouchard should come in after another year and that’s when they can really contend

This one is gonna be tough in the comments because no one knows what Pulijarvi real value is atm, but to me he definitely still holds decent value and so the leaf likely replace johnsson with Pulijarvi and pickup a talented young defender for Kappy and get a second to right the value a little bit while saving a ton of cap

Don't think Toronto takes this deal. JP has no value, Kapanen/Johnsson are probably both worth a late 1st rounder if they don't get resigned. I would think Toronto would keep at least 1 if they can. Bear doesn't have enough value to get one of these guys.

Sekera doesn't need a sweetener to be traded. Personally I would keep him because he has the highest hockey IQ on defence on the team. I'd keep Benning too because it forces us to keep Bouchard and Bear for more seasoning in the minors.

Let Me first by stating i hate the leafs and believe RHd have alot more value then wingers. That being said we dont live on a planet wear Bear is worth johnsson. He is a late round pick and proved nothing so far. He is not worth trading because one leafs need cheap defense and has to prove something before he has value. I think i actually would rather have Johnsson then kapanen.
