I'd take Eller over Brassard, and Siegenthaler over Benning.

Wouldn't help Poolparty's development to play 4th line minutes and he isn't going to push anyone out of the top 9.

I think the Caps roster is basically set now, pending a couple of RFA signings for Djoos and Vrana. There might be a trade made, but it'd probably have to be a real ground-shaker for the roster to be significantly changed. Lines/roster probably looks something like:

Ovechkin - Kuznetsov - Wilson
Vrana - Backstrom - Oshie
Hagelin - Eller - Panik
Leipsic - Dowd - Hathaway

Kempny - Carlson
Orlov - Jensen
Siegenthaler/Djoos - Gudas

Extras:

Boyd
Djoos/Siegenthaler

I would take Eller over Brassard + Puljujärvi + Benning

Eller's the only effective two-way player you mentioned.

When you put it like that, you make the trade sound pretty tempting, though. Wow.

I mean, not in terms of proven ability, but he can go to the net like Oshie, and is eleven years younger. In another thread, someone suggested Oshie for Gusev.

OV Kuz Gusev
V Back Puljujarvi
Hags Brass Wilson
Panik Dowd Hathaway
Stephenson Leipsic

It basically undoes all the responsible backchecking added with Panik and Hathaway, but talk about an offensive juggernaut.
