just a fantasy ,not happening, Aho can't be traded!!and i just give the return of OS so not realist.
but if the OS has been succesfull we would be missing only one piece a big LHD and we have some piece to trade to get him(only if we get Aho and don't give big prospect in return, like OS for a 1st,2nd,3rd)

so i think we made the playoff with this team . What do you think ?
does OTT accept this trade ? is it enough ?

it would have been sweet to happen and our team would have been serious contenders. The trade with Ottawa is a no, you would have to over pay and that means probably another top prospect or 1st rounder on top of that package. if MTL was smart they would bide their time and then offer sheet Chabot, Melnyk isn't Dundon, he is far less rich and even more cheap, front load the offer sheet and see what he does.

for next years with this team we have two big raise (Domi, Chabot)
-with the new CBA we hope we can buyout Alzner contract without penality (1 or 2 buyout without penality like the last CBA)
-Weise contract and Mason buyout ends
- we can trade Petry , Brook and/or Fleury will be ready
-we can trade Tatar , Poehling and/or Caufield will be ready
-and the raise of the salary cap

so a lot of ways to save money

Ottawa would never do that trade. If Aho had been a Hab, Montreal would not have signed Chariot for cap reasons.
