It can be another team, the point is that they are traded.

Copley tied for 36th in wins last year with Quick and Ward?

Djoos was injured, but was on pace to tie for 90th in even strength points by a defenseman, with 18, making him a #3D on an average team. Devils fans have pencilled Will Butcher onto their top pair, for his "skill." Butcher got 16 even strength points last year, in 78 games. I'm over in NJ's comments section trying to trade Djoos and Stephenson for Zacha, a Czech-born recent first round pick who put up 3rd line offensive numbers and kills some penalties. On the surface, the value's bad, and it gets worse if Zacha holds out.... except that the Caps don't need him to contend this year, and eventually he might play well with Vrana. Of course, NJ is rebuffing me based on draft position, but they all have Zacha pencilled in at 4c, if he signs.

Importance level of even strength points raking when considering defenseman overall value = very low.
