Potential moves for ANA. I am for both moves.

Faulk gives us that point-shot threat we haven't had for a long time. I think his defensive deficiencies are a little overblown and, likely, of little concern for us as we don't really have any issues in giving him more offensive zone starts as most our D-man excel on the other side of the puck anyway. I know Kase is a lot to give up, but I am in the camp that believe his injury-prone nature will continue to be an issue.

As far as Laine, his addition would give us a truly elite goalscorer. I am a big believer in Comtois and so feel that Rakell is expendable in order to make the move go ahead. The 1st is to account for differences in age and the fact that goalscorers like Laine are harder to come by.

Future line-up:

Comtois - Steel - Sprong
Henrique - Lundestrom - Silfverberg
Ritchie - Groulx - Jones

Depending on how Sprong progresses, could look to a blue-chip RW prospects to the mix, but the rest of the team looks solid.
