You're right, Ceci is th new whipping boy at least on on CapFriendly. Think it is more the "sheep followers" just repeating what is wrote in previous posts. Dmen can often look bad on poor teams or with poor partners. We'll have to wait to find out, but Ceci just might do very well on the Leafs with Muzzin or Really as a partner. Helm's cap would hurt the Leaf next year, though the trade is probably good on ice value for the Leafs.

This is not avery good trade for Wings. Glendening though not a scorer is only RH shot on Wing's forwards. He get 10 ton12 goals and is pretty good faceoff man and penalty killer. Daley well he is in last year of deal and will not be back.

If Ceci is whipping boy why are we retaining on Daley and giving you a player with 1 more year of control for a pending UFA? That is the kind of deal you make when you are contenders not also rans, as are the Wings.
