Ahhh, noooooo.

You have a pretty high opinion of middle 6 forwards. Butch is worth 2nd and OK prospect. Keep Fast, no interest. But his value is a 3rd.

Middle 6 is line 2 and 3. Top 6 is line 1 and 2. They overlap. He’s not a first liner. Butch is a 2nd liner, Fast is a 3rd. Collectively middle 6ers.

How a player is being used and what his talent level is is not always one in the same. Depends on team depth.

Peter Mrazek is bring used as a #1 goalie in Carolina, does not mean he is one. Boston uses Heinen on 2nd, should not be. Get it?

Butch has averaged 18g and 46pts per 82games, Now go look at what similar type players have been traded for. It’s not a 1st and Studnicka.
