Description

I just got bored and wondered who would take on David Backes’ contract but with Boston retaining 50%. I noticed that the retained salary on Beleskey and buyout on Seidenberg end this season. The cap hit for those two is roughly the same as retaining half of Backes. And Boston has proven they can still build a Cup worthy team with dead money on the books. I know a buyout is still more likely, but it’s fun to speculate.
