Description

Maybe there's a bit more immediate value going to the Islanders but most people aren't happy with Barrie so flip him with kapanen for an underrated top 4 two way Dman that I think could be signed long term at a decent deal. The isles want scoring so Barrie and Kap should help that. I think they can justify trading Pulock because he will want more money and term but they have Mayfield locked in, dobson looking good, Boychuck with term left and Wilde in the AHL. And resigning Barzal

The other part of the deal is Sorokin who could back up Freddie if he signs after the KHL is done and maybe be their heir. Isles have Skarek who looks very good still in their pipeline. Then Dal Colle could use an offense first team and he's on league min which dubas likes

Isn't pulock essentially they're best defenseman? Not sure the deal is fair just for him.

Then you add potentially the best goalie prospect in hockey?

(Note I am a Leafs fan but this is silly)

Isles fan here and yes you are correct. Pulock is overall our best dman and Sorokin is one of the top goalie prospects out there lol
