Description

"Underrated" is defined however you interpret it.
I like to think of "underrated" as players possessing qualities not necessarily obvious in the scoresheets. i.e. If they do the 'dirty work', take the brunt of the defensive duties, physical presence, size, faceoffs, PP speciality, PK speciality, turnovers caused, 5-on 5 numbers, etcetera
My methodology:
I ask myself: "Is he underrated, or simply rated?"

Will change players based on the fans' opinions of their respective teams.

Moved suggestions posted into the "scratches" column
Moved players into the lineup, if there was enough consensus for someone else and/or support from that player's fanbase
Players I had originally included in the lineup are removed to the "IR" column

I would probably go with Nichushkin or Francouz but Graves is a good pick too

Might be a hot take given his consistent production so far, but I think Kyle Connor is slightly overrated. Great finisher, but not much of a play driver and pretty poor defensively. Kinda the same thing with Vatrano IMO. Good shooter, not much else. I'd say Ehlers and Huberdeau are more underrated.

For the record, I don't like using over- and underrated because, as you said, they have so many interpretations.

I ignored goaltending to simplify things.
I think the attention on Graves has been quiet with COL's emerging D core. (If it was 10 years ago, his +/- would have attracted more attention).
