Agreed. Apparently Holland won't back down from getting a 1st for Pool Party but as a Rangers fan, I would give it up if they gave back a much better prospect than these two that were mentioned

I don't understand how New York could be willing to give up a 1st. Edmonton has next to no leverage.

I don’t believe this is true, this could be very similar to the Jonathan Drouin situation in Tampa Bay. As long as EDM holds firm to their ideal value for Jesse, and are in a position where they don’t need to trade him (and they are), they have leverage to get the exact deal they want.

This is not to say that the value proposed here is fair, just a comment of the leverage in the situation.
