All of these things you're making are telling me the same thing- he might be the most high profile free agent defenseman but there's not really a team where it makes any sense for him to sign or for them to sign him. Take the eight year deal at a discounted AAV, curse the bad luck the pandemic brought and keep trying to win cups the rest of your career.
