Trades
1.
BUF
  1. Cirelli, Anthony [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
With all of TBL's NTCs on their long, expensive contracts, it is going to be incredibly difficult to trade some of those guys and stay under the cap. Having a cheap, high end talent that can help them as early as next year is incredibly valuable to an expensive, aging squad.
TBL
  1. 2020 1st round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
If possible, the Sabres need to make this happen. Either trade 8th overall or trade next year's 1st and a 3rd in an offer sheet scenario
2.
BUF
  1. Gostisbehere, Shayne
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (PHI)
Additional Details:
Two players that could use a change of scenery and are actually somewhat similar. Pick included for extra year on Gost's contract
PHI
  1. Ristolainen, Rasmus
Additional Details:
Would love to trade him for picks, but i just cannot see any team taking his cap hit just for draft picks, especially with the cap not increasing.
3.
BUF
  1. Addison, Calen
Additional Details:
With Dumba, Spurgeon, and Borgen/Filip Johanssen coming up in the system, their RHD is pretty set, which makes Addison somewhat expendable. The Sabres have seen plenty of film on Addison, who has chemistry playing with Cozens in the minors, so they know exactly what they are getting.
MIN
  1. Mittelstadt, Casey [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Jokiharju/Nylander esque trade. The Wild can use a top young talent at center with upside who can use a change of scenery in his home city

I think Borgen is your prospect, and if Mittelstadt needs to be protected in the Seattle expansion, I think I'd rather hang on to Addison and maybe look to move Dumba for a center if that's still a need.

I love Larsson on the 3rd line. I really hope both sides work something out, although I have my doubts that’s he doesn’t want to come back.

Haha my bad, I originally had Borgen in the trade but took him out because the Wild honestly don't even need him.

Flyers should be the ones getting the third rounder since they’re the ones getting stuck with Risto

Addison is exempt from the expansion draft as well as being the jewel from the Zucker trade, so as long as Minnesota doesn't feel a need to re-sign Jonas Brodin until after the expansion draft, their top 5 defenders are set for the near future. And you're right -- Mittelstadt would just add another forward to the list of those you'd have to expose, which by my calculation numbers two of Donato, Greenway, Hartman and Sturm.
