Value wise, the Ranger trade is decent, but I can't see either team taking that deal...

The Minnesota trade would only be realistic if you retained on Jones, not Dubnyk

You could probably pay Jumbo less than 1.5 million (more like 1 mill)

I think the Wild would consider the deal. I am in the minority though when it comes to expecting Jones to bounce back with a full off season and then some, plus regular rest with a competent backup.

I wouldn't suggest expecting Jones to bounce back, but I do think the likelyhood of him becoming a solid .910-.920 starter again is higher than most people think. Let him rest more in the future or have him split starts, and I definitely think he could return to form.
