Lafreniere gets you one of Ottawa's top-five picks, not both. Maybe it gets you Logan Brown as well, but that's for sure a stretch. Nylander and Johnsson might get you White and the 2nd.

Neither Byfield nor Drysdale are NHL ready, and both absolutely need another year in junior.

Yikes!! I don't like that at all for the sens. Why would they do this? I would maybe trade the 5th pick for Nylander, but giving up the 3rd plus two good young C's makes little to know sense.

Dach never looked out-of-place against his peers or in high-level tournaments. Byfeild looked lost with the U20's this year.

Losing his chance at the playoffs and U18's this summer took away the remaining big-time hockey he could have played this year. If Edmonton sending Draisaitl back for an extra year to develop turned him into a Hart winner, Byfield is going to benefit greatly as well.
