Trade explains:
Dallas: Armia could very well be a cap casualty in this expansion draft so getting a first now for him could be entertaining. Dallas get a capable middle six guy, shed salary and are happy.
Minnesota: Saw this trade being offered by a Wild guy and I like it, lower of their two first round picks and Boldy's a return that would trigger my noodle if you know what I mean. I'd only trade if Domi tells me he doesn't want to play on the wing otherwise I keep him because I like him. Trade happens after the draft when the 2023 picks become available to use.
St-Louis: Why not use our cap space a little?

I don't like our RW but with Caufield, Ylonen and Gally -and maybe Seth Jarvis- I'm not ready to get out and commit on a 5+ year / 5M+ deal on someone like Toffoli. Most likely we could get a trade partner but I wouldn't go with the free agency on that one.

Cogliano’s cap isn’t a big deal as we need that space for Miro’s extension. If we traded for Armia, that’s just more money we would need to clear up next year. He also isn’t worth a first rounder
