As much as I would love the jets to get Burns, I highly doubt the Sharks retain 2 mill over the next 5 seasons. Also, he's 35

cant really do that when they have huge contracts and Couture has a ntc. Regardless your opinion on the players, they are having to be the core

They could find takers for both players. Kane is a goal scorer with a unique skillset that is valuable, and Couture is still a high end C. I think the market would be bigger for Kane than Couture due to term and age, but Sharks could get value back for both. Way more movable than Burns, even with retention.
