Description

IMO the Panthers should try to move Bob since his best years are obviously behind him and he will be an expensive backup for Knight. Also, the emergence of Driedger and Montembealt make him expendable.
One of Driedger and Montembeautl can be dealt once Knight is ready
Signing Bob was Dale Tallon’s idea, and Zito may not have wanted it

IMO his contract makes him unmovable even if he bounces back. Not many teams can afford a trade for a 10 million dollar goalie nor would it make sense for the teams that could afford him to trade for him. The Panthers are best off trying to fix their defense and hope that Bobrovsky can do better next year.

Ziti has already he has no problem with Bob so doubt he is getting moved. Just fix the defense and they’ll be fine.
