Description

Welcome Back Jay. He finally lands O’Rielly the second time around. (Fantasy I know).
Then he goes and offer sheets (correctly I might add) Jarry forcing the Pens too keep Murray.
As they Flames are in win now mode and Flames players should be fresh this condensed season from getting bounced in the first round again, Jay is trading away 1st rounds like they grow on trees to try and finally get the Flames over the hump.

The trades for St Louis is solely for Cap relief for St Louis.
Flames Gawdin and Kylington RFA signing are the qualifying offer plus 10% which is what I read they should be. Not sure Mangiapane signs for less than 3m but needed the cap room. If he signs for less, Calgary uses that on their bottom three UFS’s.
Flames UFS resigns are for the new league min next season.

Johnny (I still Love ya) is traded to Buffalo to make the St Louis deal work Cap wide. Buffalo fans seem to want to get rid Ristolainen BAD. Flames get bigger which they need. Nosek, Reider and Rinaldo are just players that I grabbed to fill the roster. Not sure it actually them but players of that value will be added.

Buffalos Fans seem to be trading him on a daily basis. Not sure Calgary would get a second along with him for Johnny but I just don’t know. Are the values there? Foundation for a trade is there.
