Description
The trades and signings aren't my random idea- they're mostly copied from other places. Red Wings trade is based on red wings people constantly whining that we'd have to take back Erne on here so I think the value is right here. We wouldn't qualify Erne.

Kings deal has leddy because they can (maybe?) use an LD and Komarov lowers the price. I made the pick a 6th next year but that's flexible to a 6th or 7th any year or for future considerations.

Here's the idea: Josh Ho-Sang. I saw ideas of why Lou was qualifying him on here and elsewhere but only one seems to make sense. 1) Sign him to trade him. This one doesn't make sense because Ho-Sang was shopped and I think exposed to waivers at one point and no one claimed him. So 2) Give him one last shot. When he was in the NHL a few seasons ago he offered a level of speed and playmaking that the team seemed to lack. I know attitude blah blah but with the team as successful as it was last season, any sour attitude can be solved. The other excuse for Ho-Sang not to be used was his lack of defense, but if you put him on the 3rd line with Pageau and Dal Colle/Komarov (if he's not traded)/Eberle that can be nullified. Defense can also be taught in the Trotz system. 1 year deal at low risk gives just one chance for an experiment on a 3rd line with limited scoring options other than Pageau. If it doesn't work, Lou sends him down and the experiment is done. If it works, there's a potentially high reward.

Ho-sang had the best defensive numbers on the team during his 10 games last season - so that wasn’t the issue. Not sure why he was sent down. I’m all for giving him another shot, I won’t believe it till I see it though...

I agree but I'd rather have Salo or Bolduc. Aho played 22 games in 2017-18 and hasn't been back since.

He never played on the top line. He played with komarov and filpulla. There’s a video breaking down ho-Sangs game and komarov whiffed on two of his passes, and beauvillier missed an easy tap in
