its silly that NHL GMs are scared to do it.... Bergavin did it last year, did it stop him from making trades last deadline and this offseason?

If the king's were "set" anywhere they'd be a playoff team, I do agree Holl is not an upgrade over Roy or Walker (they're all the same player, bottom pair RHD )

I like this only IF Haula is signed first.
Losing Kerfoot without a replacement 3C leaves the Leafs incredibly thin down the middle.
(41 y/o Thornton and 27 y/o Spezza at 3C and 4C is a recipe for disaster, especially in a condensed season).

If you can replace Kerfoot with Haula at $2m+ cheaper, then get rid of Kerfoot and Holl without taking salary back, then ya, go on and upgrade 2RD!
