I hate to tell you but no one is taking on Logan Couture, Brent Burns and Erik Karlsson contracts and terms. If they weren’t making so much money and didn’t have ridiculously long terms, they would all be trade-able for future assets. But as is right now, especially with the flat cap, SJS looks like they are stuck with them for the next 3-4 years until they atleast run off some of those years. And they are still gonna have to retain money after that.

I don’t even think teams would want a trade now even if SJS retained money. Cause they don’t want them for another 5-7 years. If it was 3-4 years, and they retained some money then it would be doable and they would be trade-able. The only way to get rid of them now though would be to retain money and add future assets to the trade( drafts picks or prospects).

The SJS are gonna have to add draft picks to the deal to get teams to take on B.Burns, Couture, or Karlsson. Not get draft picks back.

Sabres laugh & hang up
Not only is that WAY too much for Couture,
there’s no chance the Sabres consider giving up Cozens
And we aren’t trying to dump Skinner either

Wow... pretty brutal

What does Wilson have on the coyotes gm, and what does Chevy have on Wilson? Those are quite similarly one sided, one to the good for sharks and one to the bad.
