You signed Galchenyuk, Gudbranson, and Reilly, and then traded them for picks. Wouldn't those teams just sign the players themselves?

JBD not signing in Ottawa? E5?

There are definite benefits to trading for Toews, but don't give away the farm. The guys is 32, a very good 32 but still 32, and has a cap hit of $10.5MM, that's difficult to trade, and there's no need to give away anything and everything to get him.

Don't trade off Hogberg too soon, Gustavsson hasn't shown enough yet.

It is thought, it's just not educated, or remotely unbiased thought. Now with the thought there is ZERO common sense, and most likely are either casual, biased, or just don't know what market value is.
