The Coyotes do not have the assets to trade for Draisaitl. It would take more than what you've offered here, and I simply don't see the Coyotes having the assets Edmonton would require.

There's also no shot that San Jose retains any salary for the next 6+ seasons of Karlsson's contract. They'd rather keep his whole cap hit & have him play in San Jose, that still be paying $4M for him to play elsewhere for the remainder of his contract.

Columbus isn't trading a 26-year old goalie that has looked like a Vezina-caliber goalie (when healthy) for a rental on an often injured goalie.
