I don't think Edmonton trades for a goalie unless they really strike out in free agency and I don't think edmonton parts with Lavoie as he is one of their only prospects who can score.

i think VV is a the most ideal since he is signed to a low cap hit and likely wont cost much to resign the following year when the cap likely goes up...

Edm would have to deal with Seattle about VV. Unless Wash protects him instead of Samsonov...

He could be traded before the Expansion Draft and Vanecek is protected over Koskinen

In my opinion that’s too risky of a trade for Edmonton to make. Should be targeting someone with more NHL experience can’t afford to swing and miss on a goalie given these will be the years really contending. Thanks for thinking of the oilers and taking a need into account.
