That Vancouver trade just doesn’t do it for me. JT Miller needs to come back in the deal.

You aren't getting Miller. I'm also not sure why you would want him if you're rebuilding

The point is the Sabres cannot afford a full-scale rebuild. The Fanbase is already beyond pissed off at the fact they have been a joke for the last decade. If you trade away Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart and get only futures, nobody is buying tickets to watch this team continue to lose. Best case scenario Jack and Sam both get over there hissy fits, come back to camp next season and the team is competitive right out of the gate. But if either must go the Sabres cannot afford to not get roster talent that helps them right now in return.
