Agreed. So many teams get caught thinking they're closer that they actually are, and then they give up Dougie Hamilton and Tyler Seguin for Phil Kessel

Everyone of these trades are bad for buffalo. A cap dump with Hoglander for Reinhart?

Why are we retaining on risto, philly waived ghost last year, if anything they should be retaining.

And if we move eichel, out west, no way should we keep him in the east.

The Devils aren't giving up enough. Forgetting the 4th and 2nd as they aren't important beyond being window-dressing, Hughes at this point could be considered two of the four 1sts in the pricetag. You added another. So that's 3. Need another top tier prospect or a 1st.
