Description
Just trying a different approach here. Let me know what you think.
Rossi's spot would be kind of a revolving door until he is up to speed. The guys in the LTIR are different prospects I'd give a look at to give them a taste same with Chaffee.

Overall I'm pretty happy with this team. Not sure I'm sold on Gusev but Wild lack right hand shots and he is a low risk gamble.

I am not a big Talbot fan and I'm still not sold on Kahkonen but between the two Wild get decent goaltending. Hopefully a opportunity to upgrade presents itself.

Not a trade. In reality this is a contract termination. A 2nd Parise has been created and placed on IR to reflect the recapture penalty.

    4. 2021 1st round pick (MIN)
    5. 2022 1st round pick (MIN)
    Additional Details:
Not making the Sabres eat any bad contracts. I discussed a similar deal with a Sabres fan not long ago. The difference is Rossi would have been the prospect not Khusnutdinov. I was willing to go Rossi but would only do one 1st with that deal. So this is a compromise between the two.

Sabres can take bad contracts. Rask wouldn’t be bad either. He probably can play the tough defensive minutes with Girgenson and Bjork. Plus they would flip him at the deadline.

No no Rask can not play defensive minutes. Unless you want to tank for Wright, then by all means play him.

He's a turnover machine, trust me when I say it's Kappy who bails him out defensively.

I'm not particularly fond of this TBH. None of it. It's one massive step forward but ultimately 3 steps back.

I just don't think going after Eichel is worth it. I really don't like your cost for him either. I would rather we just walk away at that point.

I'd rather target someone like Monahan and stay the course with our current crop of prospects. But that's just my humble opinion.
