Too many years left on RMD's contract. The wheels will fall off in 2 years most likely. I don't want Detroit to be stuck with another boat anchor on D. Watching scarecrow Dekeyser and Pylon Ericsson have taken enough years off my life. Besides I doubt RMD waives his NTC for a rebuilding Red Wings team.
