Description

Barzal cannot lead the Islanders over the hump in the playoffs as the go-to guy. They need to try something else. Eichel will be traded, and the Sabres can't afford another O'Reilly disaster so they want an actual star player back not a bunch of 4th liners and late 1st round draft picks. Because of salary considerations Ladd is included.

Lol this is an awful take. Barzal is being held back by his coach, who’s playing him with Leo komarov. Eichel wouldn’t be able to produce with komarov on his line in the playoffs.

I could see Eichel-for-Barzal...but NYI has to pay for Ladd. Just leave him out and do one-for-one, with maybe small add from Isles.
