Description

How amazing is the Tampa Bay medical staff? They are able to perform a surgery on Kucherov (which if I recall was done just prior to the start of the season, some 14 weeks after TB won the cup) and time it so perfectly that he is not well enough to play in regular season game #56, but 100% for game 1 of playoffs. Incredible.

I imagine they have a similar plan ready for this upcoming offseason? Maybe Hedman or Stamkos this time?....surely someone expensive won't be able to play all year, right?

Calm down… haha, maybe he really couldn’t play. We don’t know! If he stays out all next season, then it’s a little fishy, but for now let’s not jump to a conclusion.

Kucherov was also in Russia for most of the off-season. Severity of the injury wasn't fully understood until returning to Florida in December.

Im not even a lightning fan but this is getting out of hand. They didn't do anything wrong. Kucherov got surgery and was out for the regular season. He was ready before the playoffs but Tampa had no reason to play him. They found a loophole and took advantage

It not a loophole, it's just the League not applying it own rules.
